CC ran diagnostics on it, found that the hard disk was unrestorable to its original condition and offered to reformat it and reinstall Windows 7, which I agreed to. The work was done and I was able to pick my laptop up on Monday evening, usable once more! (Fortunately I had backed up all my important files to an external hard drive before trashing the one on the laptop.) All for a very reasonable price. I hope I don't need Computer Crew again, but it I do I will definitely use them.
